Oil field 100 km off the Angolan coast

A new oil field is found at 100 km off Angolan coast at a depth of 470 meters by Brazilian oil company Petrobras.

During the exploration the company possibly discovered an oil field worth 500 million barrels of high quality crude oil. As per the news source Petrobras owns 5% share in the block. Petrobras has been accompanied by Italy's ENI which has 35% share in the stake, also France's Total owns 15 percent share.

The oil giant on Feb 18th had also quoted it had found 2 other oil fields with the capacity to produce 1,600 and 6,400 barrels around the same block. [1]
